Every Step Counts

Born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, Sarah graduated with a bachelors degree in Mass Communications. She decided to switch careers and join an airline flight crew to get the chance to travel the world, which helped in creating her design aesthetic and inspiration.

In 2019, she took her first steps in following her dream of becoming a shoe designer by attending Cairo Design School's Shoe design course. In 2020 Sarah decided to learn the craft from the masters of the industry by traveling to attend Academia Riacci's Intensive shoemaking course in Florence, Italy.
After 2 years of careful selection of the finest components and collaborating with Egyptian talents, the Sarah Wagdy brand came to life in 2022 with the Buckle Up collection
